End-of-Year thought
I apply the same heuristic to environments as I do to relationships or to art: If, after making a certain amount of good-faith commitment, I am receiving energy, I stay; if I’m losing energy, or if I’m getting bad energy, I remove myself; & that’s why I doubt I will ever leave BC.

Facebook Dreams
Facebook has changed my dreams, which are now crowded with people who know people that *I* know or remember. We live in large houses, or travel in caravans, taking on and dropping off people all the time.
Friendly dreams. When I wake up, I wonder where I’ve ended up, and with whom.
When I see where I am (and I do have to look around to make sure), I’m surprised that one person can have this...

Yesterday on Davie Street a young woman was passing out flyers to an event at Maxine’s Hideaway. She gave one each to two women in front of me, and one to the guy behind me, ignoring me completely. I almost said, “Don’t you know that *I* have an iPhone?!”
